The Nature Coast APA started back in 2009, playing in Hernando, Citrus and Sumter Counties. The league started with just about 20 or so teams and has now grown to over 100 active teams. Within this league there are eight different format options for you to play in, all of which gives you a chance to win an opportunity to play in the National Tournament in Las Vegas.
The league hosts many tournaments throughout the year including Tri-Cups, Local Team Championships, 8 & 9 Ball Scotch Doubles, Jack and Jill, Singles and more. All which can lead you and or your team to the National Tournaments out in Las Vegas.
In July of 2016, I, Ken Wood along with my wife Leslie Wood became the new League Operators. We have played in the APA League for more than 10 years. What I enjoyed most during my years playing in the APA League was the friendships that were developed, not just between teammates, but between all players within the league. I hope that the nights you spend out with your friends, family and co-workers playing in the league become as fulfilling and enjoyable as it continues to be for us.
